Mika will be waltzing into Milan this April to dazzle fans with his "joyful and empowering" hits.

Travellers heading to Milan soon may want to head to Mediolanum Forum to see the wacky Mika perform his unique brand of pop to his adoring fans.

The bouffant-sporting singer is set to play the venue on April 21st and it could offer tourists the perfect chance to let their hair down for an evening before resting up at their accommodation in Milan and beginning another day of sightseeing.

Some people may only know Mika from his hit single Grace Kelly, but he has won accolades all over the world, including prizes from such prestigious ceremonies as the Grammys, the Brits and the World Music Awards.

"Classically trained, racially mixed and prone to theatrical physical gesture, he has become a scion of ambitiously delivered self-expression," explained his website.

His record sales certainly back up this opinion, since he sold three million copies of Grace Kelly worldwide and more than five million of his debut album Life in Cartoon Motion.

This may be one concert that music fans do not want to miss, particularly since the singer himself describes his songs as "joyful and empowering" and stressed that they do not "kowtow to fashion or convention".

Tickets for the gig can be bought online, with prices starting from €34,50 (£31.50) and the performance beginning at 21:00 on the night.
