From Sept. 8 to 13, the company showcases solutions for welding, cutting and automation operations

Cleveland – will be in booth N-6520 at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), Sept. 8 -13, at McCormick Place in Chicago to discuss the application of welding, cutting, automation and integration solutions in the production environment.

 

Attendees of IMTS can get their badges scanned at the Lincoln Electric booth, N-6520, in the Fabricating Pavilion for a chance to win a Lincoln Electric POWER MIG® 180 Dual welding machine and a Traditional Welding Gear Ready-Pak®, which includes an auto-darkening helmet, welding jacket, gloves and safety glasses.

 

The booth will feature products and experts related to the following topics:

  • Pipeline construction is one of the biggest growth segments in the North American economy. Lincoln Electric is enabling this continued growth with its new orbital MIG and TIG welding solutions.
  • The company is displaying its new RoboTank system, which provides productivity enhancements and excellent bead appearance on pressure vessel applications.

As part of the IMTS educational sessions, Paul Denney, Lincoln Electric’s senior laser applications engineer, will speak about the advantages of laser hot wire cladding over other welding processes on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 3:15 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. in room W-194B. During his presentation, Denney will outline the cost savings potential of laser hot wire cladding and explain how to know if it’s the right process for a particular application.
