FUSE is electric rock violinists Ben Lee & Linzi Stoppard, the Prince and Princess of the rock violin world. When Ben and Linzi set out to break the mould and push the boundaries they realised they had two choices: to be followers or to show the way with initiative. The latter was the only real option.

What FUSE do can have a truly global appeal; there are no language barriers. Whilst they are very proudly a string band, listeners can sing along to the choruses that we all know. With the release of the album in March 2010, FUSE will be bringing their unique brand of entertainment to a whole new audience, let’s hope they are ready!

Born Free Wild & Live! was a unique celebration of wildlife, raising funds to help save the lives of 25,000 wild animals, stop suffering, rescue individuals and protect rare species.

Born Free Founder, actress and conservationist Virginia McKenna, spoke passionately about the star-studded line-up and the cause.“I am overwhelmed – so many talented performers willing to stand up and be counted for animals in need.” Virginia commented.

Stars at WILD & LIVE, included:
Bryan Adams, John Altman, Peter Andre, Mark Austin, Tina Barrett, Mutya Buena, Gabriella Cilmi, Martin Clunes, elephant/Inspire Choir, Antony Costa, Beverley Craven, African Drummers - Seby Ntege and Embaire Strikes Back, FUSE, Karen Hardy & Mark Ramprakash, Rolf Harris, Lady Victoria Hervey, Nick Knowles, Rula Lenska, Kiki Dee & Carmelo Luggeri, Joanna Lumley, Michael McKell, Donal MacIntyre, Virginia McKenna, Tony Mortimer, Graham Norton, Fire Poet, Robert Wells, Catriona Wiles, Helen Worth.

In the run up to the event long-time Born Free supporter Bryan Adams sent us a message of encouragement from LA, calling on the public to back the event.
“WILD & LIVE is a concert to help Born Free to save 25,000 animals. I’ll be there to lend my support – hope you will too.”

With tigers facing imminent extinction, lion populations crashing, elephants being butchered for their ivory, rhinos relentlessly pursued for their horns and gorillas lucky to see out the next century, the clock is counting down for some of the world’s most endangered wild species.

Virginia McKenna OBE, recognized by The Queen for her services to conservation, said, "It’s a desperate situation for so many animals and we have to do something about it. WILD & LIVE gives us the chance to really make a difference and save endangered species. If you care about wildlife and love great entertainment then I urge you to join us!"

WILD & LIVE took place at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 14th November showcasing an international line-up of top stars from the world of music and entertainment.

FUSE debut eponymous album is out in March 2010.
