Lodar Raises $3,000 For Towing Industry Survivor Fund

At the recent tow show in Baltimore, Lodar Radio Controls raised $3,000 for the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum (ITRHFM) Survivor Fund.


Chattanooga, TN, December 02, 2011 (PressReleasePoint) -- At the recent tow show in Baltimore, Lodar Radio Controls raised $3,000 for the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum (ITRHFM) Survivor Fund. Lodar generously donated ten wireless remote control units for auction at the show and held the hourly auctions in their booth on the show floor. Lodar donated all monies from these ten units to the Survivor Fund on Sunday at the close of the show. The results of this fundraiser surpassed all expectations and

The donated units were Lodar two function wireless systems and the traffic around the booth was steady throughout the show.  Each hour brought a spirited auction and more money for the Survivor Fund. The winners of the auctions were:

Chips Repair and Towing from Suffolk, VA

Greens Garage from Hampstead, MD

Express Towing & Repair from Dover, PA

M & K Towing from Baltimore, MD

Hot Rods from Martinsburg, VA

Baileys Garage & Towing from Brockway, PA

The Survivor Fund is the latest addition to the ITRHFM family and was established to help the families of the men and women that have make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of service. The Survivor Fund provides the families of these fallen towers with a uniform financial gift at the time of their loss. ITRHFM is a 501(c)(3) organization and accepts donations for its Survivor Fund as well as other programs and operations from individuals, corporations and groups.
