Lynda Gratton, Professor of Management Practice in Organisational Behaviour at London Business School, has been named among a list of the 50 most influential business professors of 2013.

The MBA Rankings.net counts Professor Gratton among the growing number of female business professors making their mark and leading change in the historically male-dominated world of business education.

Professor Gratton said: “Role models are crucial for young women to feel that there is a way ahead for them. That’s why I am so delighted that so many of the most influential business school professors are women. It shows that the voice of women is being heard and acknowledged, and brings much needed diversity to the debate about business performance.”

Professor Gratton has previously been recognised as a top 15 Business Thinker by The Times, while the Financial Times deemed her to be someone most likely leading change in the business world over the next decade.

Professor Gratton is one of 15 women to appear in the list.  Joining Professor Gratton on the list of influential Professors are fellow London Business School Professors Nirmalya Kumar, Professor of Marketing, Costas Markides, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and Phanish Puranam, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship.
