Marketlinkx Direct Inc. acquires entertainment marketing company to expand its MLX Entertainment division.

New York, NY, June 16, 2010 (PressReleasePoint) -- Marketlinkx Direct Inc. announced today its acquisition of I Am Entertainment, an established and fast-growing entertainment marketing platform owned and operated by entertainment industry veteran, Santana Melvin. Mr. Melvin has also accepted the position of President of MLX Entertainment, the entertainment marketing division of Marketlinkx Direct Inc. In this position he will develop and deploy marketing initiatives on behalf of the company with the goal of significantly expanding its presence in the marketplace.

Melvin is a founding member of Slip N Slide Records, as well as a founder of Bossman Management, a talent management company with such notable clients as Trick Daddy, Trina, Tre+6, Jaban and Lost Tribe. Additionally, he also served as Vice President of Marketing for Butterboy Records for over 3 years where he developed many innovative marketing and brand strategies on behalf of the company’s clients.
