MCC’s new Chief Executive Officer, Dana J. Hyde, to join Minister of Education in Namibia

Dana J. Hyde will make her first trip abroad as the new CEO of Millennium Challenge Corporation.


Hyde will visit Namibia, where she will join Minister of Education, Dr. David Namwandi, at an official ceremony to hand over schools in the country’s Kavango region.


MCC’s five-year compact with Namibia, which is scheduled to be completed this September, invests $304.5 million in agriculture, tourism and education.


Hyde will have press availability after the ceremony in Namibia on Thursday, June 26, 2014, which takes place from 10:15 A.M. to 11:45 A.M.
