They have they opportunity to enjoy a two-hour luncheon at a five star hotel in Jakarta. The players will be in Indonesia as part of a US state department program called 'The US Sports Envoy Program'. This program in association with the US dept as State's Bureau of education and cultural affairs featured NBA players and coachers traveling overseas to conduct clinics, visiting schools and speaking to youth about the importance of an education, positive health practices and respect for diversity.

Sam Perkins was a former Lakers and Indiana Pacers players. He was also named to the ACC 50th Anniversary men's basketball team as one of the fifty greatest players in Atlantic Coast Conference history and was Co-captain of the gold-medal winning 1984 U.S. Olympic basketball team. In September 2008, Perkins was inducted into the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, Sue Wicks is a WNBA Legend. She played with the New York Liberty from 1997 to 2002. She currently serves as a collegiate basketball coach. She is the 8th most blocked shots in WNBA history and has been awarded with the 2000 Kim Perrot Sportsmanship Award, that recompenses the player who most "exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship on the court—ethical behavior, fair play and integrity." This is the same criterion used by the analogous NBA Sportsmanship Award.
