College GameDay Returns to Memphis ESPN’s College GameDay Covered by State Farm’s next stop is the University of Memphis on Saturday, Feb. 8, for its third stop at Memphis (2005 and 2008), which plays Gonzaga that night. The show – previewing all the day’s action and discuss the biggest storylines in college basketball — begins at 10 a.m. on ESPNU, continuing at 11 a.m. on ESPN with a one-hour evening edition leading into the Saturday Primetime game of Gonzaga at No. 24 Memphis (ESPN, 9 p.m.).
Ten of Top 11 Teams in Action including Undefeated No. 1 Syracuse & No. 4 Wichita State ESPN’s men’s college basketball schedule of 46 games from Thursday, Feb. 6, to Sunday, Feb. 9, will include 10 of the top 11 teams in the Associated Press poll and 17 of the top 25 overall. Highlights:
ESPN2 and ESPNU will combine to televise the two remaining undefeated men’s programs over the weekend: No. 4 Wichita State will visit Northern Iowa on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 9 p.m. on ESPN2 and No. 1 Syracuse will host Clemson on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
All five of ESPN’s games on Saturday, Feb. 8, will involve at least one ranked team highlighted by two games between ranked squads: No. 10 Michigan at Big Ten foe No. 17 Iowa at 2 p.m. (also available on ESPN Radio) and No. 23 Gonzaga of the West Coast Conference at No. 24 Memphis of the American in the 9 p.m. ESPN Saturday Primetime Driven by State Farm telecast.
The additional three ESPN games will include a team in the top 11: No. 3 Florida against Alabama at noon, No. 8 Kansas against West Virginia at 4 p.m. and No. 11 Duke at Boston College at 6 p.m.
The Thursday Night Showcase Presented by Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups doubleheader on February 6 will include three of the top nine squads. ESPN will televise No. 7 Cincinnati against Connecticut at 7 p.m. and No. 2 Arizona against Oregon at 9 p.m. while ESPN2 will carry No. 9 Michigan State against Penn State at 9 p.m.
ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3 will combine to cover five games with a ranked team on Saturday, Feb. 8:
No. 13 Saint Louis at La Salle at 5 p.m. and No. 21 Oklahoma against Baylor at 7 p.m. on ESPN2
No. 7 Cincinnati at SMU at 7:30 p.m. and No. 19 Oklahoma State at Texas Tech at 9:30 p.m. on ESPNU
No. 5 San Diego State against Nevada at 10 p.m. on ESPN3.
