Meritnation.com has worked extensively in the area of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) to create a platform that will facilitate schools in the process of conducting CCE-based evaluations.

Naukri.com funded Meritnation.com, an educational portal of Applect Learning Systems Pvt. Ltd. is organizing a workshop for schools on “Evaluation in the context of CCE”. Meritnation.com has worked extensively in the area of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) to create a platform that will facilitate schools in the process of conducting CCE-based evaluations. As a part of this endeavour, meritnation.com is organizing this event to simplify the CCE guidelines provided by CBSE for schools/teachers. This one-day workshop will take place in Chandigarh on April 28, 2010.

While the CCE is aimed at reducing the stress levels of students studying under the CBSE board, it has undoubtedly increased the responsibilities of the teachers considerably. This workshop by meritnation.com is geared to help schools and teachers effectively conduct the Formative and Summative assessments under CCE and also enable them to accurately assess their students in co-scholastic areas and activities. Over 25 schools from Chandigarh will be participating in this event. Eminent educationist, Prof. H.S. Srivastava, with an experience of over 30 years in the field of education and having worked in the areas of Curriculum, Evaluation and Talent Search as Head of the Department and Dean at NCERT, will be presiding over the workshop.

“Through this workshop we hope to remove all the ambiguity prevailing amongst the schools and teachers with respect to guidelines, procedures and CCE per say and also equip them with tools that will help them effectively assess and record their student performances”, says Pavan Chauhan, Director-Applect Learning Systems.
