MetaCarta Welcomes New Vice President of Worldwide Sales to Drive Company’s Continued Growth and Success

Cambridge, MA - March 26, 2007- MetaCarta, Inc., the leading provider in geographic-search and referencing, is pleased to announce that John Donnelly III has joined as its vice president of worldwide sales based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this newly created position, John will be responsible for all sales, business development and field activities worldwide.

Donnelly brings 19 years of experience in the technology industry with a strong track record in global sales and business development. He joins MetaCarta directly from Interwise Software (Cambridge, MA) where as the VP, sales & business development he managed all direct and indirect sales functions across the Americas business; and led a 66% increase in bookings from 2004 to 2006, selling enterprise-wide software to global organizations. Prior to that, Donnelly was VP worldwide sales & services for CoManage Corporation (Pittsburgh, PA), where he was in charge of all activity related to revenues and customer facing functions globally. He played a significant role in driving the business and was instrumental in setting the stage for the company’s acquisition by Syndesis, LTD.

Other private and public software companies that Donnelly has helped drive to success include: Longitude Systems, Inc. (Chantilly, VA), Kabira Technologies, Inc. (San Rafael, CA), Synon Corporation (Larkspur, CA), Automation Intelligence (Reston, VA), Intellicorp, Inc. (Mountain View, CA), ParcPlace – Digitalk Systems (Sunnyvale, CA) and Bachman Information Systems (Cambridge, MA). Donnelly holds a BS in Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing from Babson College.
