Michael Kelly joins Haemonetics as President, North America and Global Plasma Business
Braintree, MA, Jun. 30, 2010 Braintree, MA, June 30, 2010- Haemonetics Corporation (NYSE: HAE) announced today that Michael Kelly will join its executive team effective July 12, 2010 as President, North America and Global Plasma Business.
Mike, age 46, joins Haemonetics from CareFusion, a leading medical device company focused on the reduction of medication related errors and hospital-acquired infections. Mike most recently served as Senior VP and General Manager of CareFusion's Infection Prevention business, a $300 million global leader in its category. Prior to his most recent position at CareFusion, Mike held a number of progressively responsible positions in sales leadership, marketing, operations and general management at Baxter Health Care and Cardinal Healthcare. Mike earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the Ohio State University.
Mike's responsibilities will include leadership of the North American Patient and Donor Divisions, the Global Plasma business, Regional Marketing, Customer Solutions Implementation and Customer Support and Services.
