SINGAPORE, March 14, 2014:Millennial Media [NYSE:MM], the leading independent mobile advertising platform, today announced the appointment of Andrew Newton(Andy) as Vice President, Strategic Accounts for Asia Pacific. Newton will be responsible for developing and strengthening key accounts for Millennial Media in this region, and joins the Company in April of this year.
Newton was most recently with MediaCom, where he was Director for Mobile in Asia Pacific. In addition, he spent ten years with the British Council, spearheading mobile initiatives for the organisation. He has lived in Asia for 12 years, spending time and working in the Middle East, Mainland China, and Hong Kong. Based in Singapore, Newton will report to Robert Woolfrey, Managing Director for Asia Pacific.

Millennial Media has grown rapidly in the Asia Pacific region since it established its office in Singapore in 2012. In that time, the team in Singapore has expanded to include over 35 staff. Clients in the region include McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble, and Samsung, among others. Most recently, Millennial Media announced the expansion of the Millennial Media Exchange (MMX) into this region - a unique opportunity for brands and advertisers to buy and sell on a real-time, programmatic basis at scale. MMX offers a new set of targeting features that provides increased transparency and control over mobile ad campaigns.
