250 students to school after a long summer break, The Millennium School (TMS), Indore celebrated their First Foundation Day at the school premises.

Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India., January 19, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -  Welcoming almost 250 students to school after a long summer break, The Millennium School (TMS), Indore celebrated their First Foundation Day at the school premises. On this occasion, the school inaugurated their 1200 sq. feet school library that will house almost 2500 books; and a newly constructed second floor that will house new classrooms for Class 6 and 7 along with new labs for music and dance.

The celebration commenced with a traditional welcome of the students by the class teachers and then lighting of a lamp in front of Lord Ganesha. This was followed by a cultural programme of music and dance presented by the students of the school.

A unique slide show 'Memorabilia' showcased highlights of the year gone by, at TMS Indore. This was marked with an introduction of new teachers joining the school followed by sumptuous feast for students and teachers. Concluding the day, children enjoyed a school tour 'Know My School' where they were taken around to see the various in-house school facilities.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the TMS (Indore), Ms. Sangeeta Uppal said, "We are delighted on having completed one successful year with tremendous support from parents and teachers. With the opening of the new library, we hope children will enrich their learning experiences and make optimal utilization of the place." The programme ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Seema Singh.
