Mindfire releases SharePoint 2010 Product

Very recently Mindfire have released a Webpart called “Notifications Webpart” in SharePoint 2010 for the benefit of SharePoint site users. 

 

This Webpart is developed in-house by expert SharePoint team at Mindfire. The prime developers of this Webpart are Kaushik Mohanty & Srikanta Barik. It is a simple Webpart which provides notification of birthday, joining anniversary and marriage anniversary of SharePoint site users. An email link is also provided in the notification message if any registered site user wants to wish the person for a specific event of the person through email. The notification message is different each time varying from event to event as well as from person to person for which the event belongs to. The admin has the rights to edit/delete registered user’s information in the Notification Webpart whenever required. Moreover the user’s can also view all existing site user’s information those who are registered to Notification Webpart.

User can also insert its own image by providing image URL to admin. The pre-requisites for this Webpart are a site based on SharePoint 2010 foundation and Microsoft .Net framework 3.5 or higher versions. This Webpart is very well supported by Internet Explorer 7, 8 or 9. The Webpart is free for download at Mindfire's website.
