The mini optical light source, model 08221, uses an FP-LD emitter and works at a wavelength range of 1330nm to 1550nm. The optical device is light in weight, easy-to-use and cost-effective.It includes an optional loss test kit. When combined with GAO Fiber Optics' mini optical power meter Model 08112,the optical light source provides an efficient testing solution for field work in fiber optic networks.The mini light source works continuously for forty hours using three 1.5V alkaline batteries.It can be used for both single-mode fiber and for multi-mode fibers.
