Minitab Customers Earn Baldrige, 2013 IQPC Process Excellence Awards

Users of Minitab Statistical Software earn top honors in quality improvement.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – They come from different industries and different parts of the world, but winners of this year’s Baldridge National Quality Awards and the International Quality and Productivity Center’s Process Excellence Global Awards have something in common: Minitab Statistical Software.

The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award is the U.S. government’s highest honor for performance excellence through innovation, improvement and visionary leadership. Three of this year’s recipients are Minitab customers:

• Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control of Grand Prairie, Texas

• North Mississippi Health Services of Tupelo, Miss.

• City of Irving, Texas

Minitab customers also swept the IQPC Process Excellence Awards, which were presented during a ceremony at the organization’s annual Process Excellence Week Summit, held in Orlando, Fla. in January.

These awards recognize and celebrate companies and individuals globally that have achieved exceptional results through the use of process improvement methodologies. Minitab has been used to analyze data in virtually every major Lean Six Sigma quality improvement initiative worldwide, and each of this year’s winners use Minitab Statistical Software to increase profits and raise the standard of goods and services they offer.
