Mitsubishi Motors Promotes the i-MiEV Electric Vehicle in Switzerland

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MM Automobile Schweiz AG and Switzerland's largest electricity provider Alpiq Holding AG (Alpiq) through which the three parties will work together to promote the popularization of the new-generation electric vehicle i-MiEV in Switzerland.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MM Automobile Schweiz AG and Switzerland's largest electricity provider Alpiq Holding AG (Alpiq) through which the three parties will work together to promote the popularization of the new-generation electric vehicle i-MiEV in Switzerland.

Under the MoU, the three companies will work together to confirm the viability of electric vehicles and Japan-developed quick-charger units in Switzerland.

For Alpiq, electric mobility is an efficient and innovative solution for the development of individual means of transport free from CO2 emissions.

The i-MiEV has been available for test drives inside the Green Pavilion at the 80th Geneva International Motor Show at the Geneva Palexpo exhibition and conference complex since March 2nd 2010.
