England, UK, March 18, 2009 (PressReleasePoint) -- Advertising and marketing is a dynamic business, and those in the industry know they can never be quite sure what to expect. While this makes for an exciting and varied working life, it can also means facing some difficult challenges.

Challenges, for example, like the one faced by the Electoral Commission when they had to run a recent photo shoot. As the government body in charge of elections, the Electoral Commission needed four models from a range of ethnic backgrounds, all aged in their fifties and sixties, to appear in brochures encouraging electors to cast a special vote while away on holiday.

Fortunately, when it comes to finding a model for a very particular or unusual assignment, there is a straightforward solution. To find models for the shoot, the Electoral Commission went straight to nationwide modelling agency Models Direct.

Models Direct has one of the broadest model portfolios of any modelling agency in Europe, and prides itself on being able to fill any brief quickly.

“We understand that marketers today are looking to create empathy and really connect with their audience,” says Managing Director of Models Direct Damian O’Connor. “That means tailoring their creative so that their target audience recognises themselves in the advertisement.”

As a result, Models Direct is finding that more and more clients are coming to them looking for a model or a group of models to fit a specific demographic, in terms of age, ethnicity, or gender.

“We’re connecting models to business every day,” says O’Connor. “The Electoral Commission job was a great example of a certain kind of job that clients often come to us with, where we need to find models in just the right age bracket.”

“We were very excited to assist the Electoral Commission in getting this important message out to the UK public,” says O’Connor.
