Brand Expands Line of Made-to-Measure Women’s Business Suits and Careerwear, Incorporating more On-Trend Custom Clothing for Women

New York, NY, September 14, 2010 (PressReleasePoint) -- Moi-Meme, the New York City-based custom career clothier for women, announces the release of its September collection of custom women’s suits and career apparel. The new collection expands the brand’s line of contemporary, sophisticated business suits with new seasonal tailored separates – all featuring a made-to-measure fit.

“As this is our seventh collection, we’ve already got the basics covered,” remarks Founder and CEO, Dawn Verbrigghe. “So this season we looked to add styles that are trendier, flirtier, more feminine: a tulip skirt and tulip dress, two pairs of back-zip pants, a lapel-less shirt.”

Ms. Verbrigghe - who is also a faculty member at Parsons the New School for Design - developed an interest in custom apparel because she is too tall to fit into off-the-rack pants. She founded Moi-Meme to address the need for stylish, office-appropriate apparel that fits and flatters women of all body types. The company introduced its inaugural collection three years ago.

O, The Oprah Magazine has recognized Moi-Meme one of the “Best Fashion Labels for Tall Women” and FIND New York featured Moi-Meme as the only women’s custom tailor in its list of Best Bespoke Boutiques, describing its women’s business suits as “…the perfect armor for breaking through the glass ceiling.”

Through the company’s personal tailoring service, a Moi-Meme style consultant takes a comprehensive set of 20 body measurements, five garment measurements and a handful of photographs. She then assists the customer in selecting a style, fabric and lining color, taking into consideration the woman’s unique body shape, work environment and professional goals. Each custom garment is individually tailored and ready within four weeks.
