On Thursday and Friday, November 10 and 11, Sapienza University will host a seminar on "Movies, Graffiti and Current Research on the Inquisition."

The seminar is promoted by Professor Marina Caffiero, Sapienza Department of History, Culture and Religions, and Andrea Del Col from the Research Center on the Inquisition at the University of Trieste.

The seminar, which will be opened by Department Director Emanuela Prinizivalli, will include scholars from several universities.

The Nefertiti Film production company will present the research they carried out to produce a movie on Domenico Scandella, known as “Menocchio,” a farmer judged and executed for heresy by the Inquisition at the end of 16th century.
