In accordance with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide’s policy to recognize excellence in performance and to achieve the super competence in work and service, and under the slogan of “Innovation Is What Sets Us Apart”. Each of the Starwood Hotels around the world nominates one of its directors with the most excellent performance during the year to grant them the "President's Award."

Mr. Ibrahim Fahmy, Managing Director, Starwood Hotels & Resorts - Egypt, has nominated Mr. Haytham Farouk, Executive Assistant Manager-Rooms Division, Sheraton Cairo Hotel, for the President's Award for Excellent performance 2010 for his dedication, competence, idealistic performance and his outstanding contribution to the hotel. And based on Starwood’s approval of this nomination the "President's Award" for 2010 was granted to Haytham Farouk.
