The BER/data communication tester is a multi-purpose tester designed for the creation, maintenance and troubleshooting of digital networks.

It is designed for the creation, maintenance and troubleshooting of digital networks and carrying out both framed and unframed tests on various equipment such as primary multiplexers, digital cross connects, automatic protection switches and circuits operating at a speed between 50bit/s and 2048kbit/s.
This data communication tester, model A0300002, integrates four data interfaces and G.703 Co-dir 64kbit/s and G.703-2Mkbit/s interface; accommodations for future interfaces have also been considered. It offers an error analysis function enabling easy display of histograms. This data communication tester also supports DTE and DCE emulation.
