MyEducationPath.com announced the release of MOOC Paths directory to help students of MOOCs to find a correct and effective path to achieve education level alternative to college degree using MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and other online courses.

Kiev, Ukraine, Feb. 26, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - MyEducationPath.com announced today the release of MOOC Paths directory tool. The directory lists education paths to achieve knowledges level alternative to college degree using MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and other online courses.

The MOOC Paths was created as part of education portal to support new trends in higher education. Because count of MOOCs grows every day there is some disorder in browsing MOOCs resources and offers. It is very difficult for potential students to find correct path in MOOCs learning to achieve a specified skills. MyEducationPath.com aims to help to solve this problem.

The Paths directory is based on MyEducationPath.com MOOCs directory containing more 6500 courses from above 20 providers. Paths are created as free copy of a college program of study. Every college course is replaced with alternative course from the MOOCs directory. If a course has many alternatives then all are listed and a student can choose what alternative to learn before he starts following a path. A path should allow to get BA or MA level education with having K12 school education as a base.

First paths are created by MyEducationPath.com staff. But in future they expects the service users will create own paths and share in the directory. So there will be different paths for same professions and students can choose what path to follow.
