Nas and Mos Def Headline UK Rock The Bells Tour, Quiz Media Set To Launch UFM

Pharcyde, Supernatural and Scratch will also appear as part of historic Hip-Hop concert

October, 05, 2009, Birmingham, England - Quiz Media, organizer of the Urban Fashion and Music conference (UFM Conference) will be in the house on November 6th, when the Rock the Bells tour comes to Birmingham. Nas and Mos Def are set to headline the tour with support from the Pharcyde and freestyle legend Supernatural.

“This is certainly a huge hip-hop event and will attract a similar crowd as the conference scheduled for July 2010.” Says Quiz founder of the conference. Quiz is no stranger to large tours. He worked as road manager for Shyheim the rugged child of Wu-Tang Clan and with some Def Jam recording artists.

Hosting events such as the Rock the Bells tour and UFM Conference in Birmingham is great for the west midlands and the city. Quiz Media hopes that Birmingham will become a high profile city for hip-hop culture, which is why his company opted to host the UFM Conference there.

In past years the conference has taken place in New York and Houston. In it’s previous incarnation the conference was known as the T.U.N.E music seminar and the 3rd Coast Conference (TTCC). Past guests and sponsors read like the who’s who of music. Sponsors such as Def Jam, Roc-a-Fella records, Sony, Bad Boy, Wu-Wear, Dada and others have supported this urban music extravaganza. Past guests include KRS One, Kool Herc and Mathew Knowles (Beyonce Knowles’ Father) Quiz Media plans to make the UFM Conference as big in the UK as it was in the US.
