Natural Weight For Optimized Living is pleased to welcome Dr. Mara Okshteyn to its Tucson Center’s medical staff.

Tucson, AZ , July 1, 2009 - Natural Weight For Optimized Living is pleased to welcome Dr. Mara Okshteyn to its Tucson Center’s medical staff. Dr. Okshteyn’s specialty areas are Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.For the last five years Dr. Okshteyn has been practicing in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she has taken care of patients of all ages suffering from endocrinologic problems. The center for which she practiced is considered one of the top centers for endocrinology in New Mexico. It is well recognized for its excellence in the care of patients with diabetes and endocrinologic disorders.

Asked about Dr. Okshteyn’s joining his Natural Weight Team, owner David M. Klein, PhD commented,

Dr. Okshteyn’s residency program in Internal Medicine was completed at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center, UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Plainfield, NJ. Her Endocrinology fellowship program was completed at Allegheny University Hospitals, Medical College of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, PA. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in 1987.

Dr. Okshteyn is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, and Holistic Medicine and is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Her special clinical interests include: patients with diabetes, Women’s Health, Integrative Approach to Diabetes Management, and Integrative Holistic Medicine.
