Karlsruhe, Germany, 30.04.09 -

Partners and developers can integrate Web conferences into their own applications.

Netviewer AG, Europe’s leading manufacturer of Web conferencing solutions, enables integration of its software into other applications. Software providers can use the straightforward programming interface to integrate Netviewer and to expand their product portfolio in order to include online meetings. Thus, they enable their users to interact directly via Web conferences. People working on the same project, for example, can use the service to discuss and agree on key documents.

By providing an interface, Netviewer allows its partners to independently integrate Web conferences into their own systems. These partners may include manufacturers of enterprise software, unified communications tools, browsers, instant messaging programs, or e-learning tools. The users of these applications must then no longer laboriously switch between multiple applications. Instead they can enter an online meeting directly from the program that is already running. Projectplace is a provider of project management solutions. By adding Netviewer to its portfolio of products it has given project participants the ability to reach decisions faster than ever before.

Software providers who would like to add Netviewer to their application can independently experiment with this feature without cost or obligation. For this purpose, Netviewer provides a live system as a test environment. If the developers decide to move forward with integration, they can either act as a reseller (and collect commission) or obtain a license.

"We would like to give everyone the opportunity to try integrating Netviewer and enhance their existing software solutions. This will also allow our Web conferencing solutions to demonstrate their main benefits - direct and straightforward collaboration over the Internet - in every conceivable situation," says Dr. Andreas Schweinbenz, founder and CEO of Netviewer.
