New 445,942 SF Lease brings Duke Realty’s Park 840 Logistics Center Building to 100% Occupancy

B&G Foods will occupy 68 percent of the 653,460-square-foot warehouse in Lebanon.

(Nashville, Tenn. – Aug. 25, 2014) The Nashville office of Duke Realty Corporation (Duke Realty) has announced that B&G Foods, a manufacturer and distributor of branded shelf-stable food and household products in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, has signed a new lease for 445,942 square feet in its Park 840 Logistics Center Building 653. With this lease, the 653,360-square-foot bulk warehouse, located at 14840 Central Pike in Lebanon, is 100 percent leased.

“B&G Foods is a growing company that needed a modern distribution center with superior highway access,” said Chris Brown, Senior Vice President of Duke Realty’s Southeast Region. “Our Park 840 Logistics Center building provides the flexibility, capacity and functionality that will support B&G Foods’ distribution goals. Plus its location just off I-840 provides ready access to the rest of the country, enabling deliveries in a day’s drive to 50 percent of the country.”

“Building 653 in Park 840 Logistics Center is a high-quality facility with the square footage we were looking for now and long term,” said Tom Heslin, Director of Distribution with B&G Foods. “The building also has superior highway access which is critical to our operations. Duke Realty has been very professional and responsive to our needs and has worked closely with us in preparing the building for our occupancy.”

Park 840 Logistics Center Building 653 is a cross-docked facility that includes 32′ clear height; 88 dock doors equipped with levelers, bumpers and seals; and four 12′ x 14′ drive-in doors. The remainder of the building is leased to the Nutro Company.

Patrick Brakefield and Michael Augustine with Charles Hawkins Co represented B&G Foods in the transaction while Lonnie Russell represented Duke Realty.
