Independent recruitment agency Anne Corder Recruitment has introduced a new online administration service for clients aimed at increasing efficiency.

The new client portal, Your ACR, enables the entire process from issuing a timesheet to temporary staff to authorising, querying, submitting and paying it to be carried out electronically.

The e-timesheet system is believed to be the first of its kind used by an independent agency in Peterborough.

“This is another step in the process we started two years ago to make our business as environmentally friendly and efficient as possible,” said recruitment partner Karen Dykes who has overseen the introduction of Your ACR. “Our temps have had access to their individual pages – My ACR – for some time and those have proved very popular. Your ACR is an extension of that service. It speeds up the authorisation process and removes the reliance on a chain of people ensuring paper time sheets are addressed, franked, posted and delivered.”

Your ACR has already been introduced to a number of clients and staff will be training others in its use over the coming months.

“It’s the kind of system that can be developed as clients become familiar with it and ask for more features to be included,” said Karen. “”Feedback so far has been excellent. It’s just one more way that we can help save our clients time and money on unwieldy administration processes.”

How it works

Each client has password protected access to their Your ACR area. Anne Corder Recruitment staff issue electronic timesheets to candidates. Once filled in on screen their line manager receives an email notification with a link enabling them to sign the timesheet – again online. One press of a button sends the authorised timesheet into ACR’s accounts system for payment. If a query arises the timesheet can be pinged back to either the temp or ACR for any necessary changes.
Each client’s portal also has a personal client archive as well as hints and tips for those managing temps on a daily basis.
