New Beavercreek Facility Has A Name - 'The Indu and Raj Soin Medical Center'
Corbus, leaders in IT and Procurement Outsourcing, are pleased to announce that Kettering Health Network's new Beavercreek hospital will be named as 'The Indu and Raj Soin Medical Center', for the contributions made by Corbus Chairman Mr. Rajesh Soin and his wife - Indu, towards the hospital.
It is the first full-service hospital in greater Dayton to be named after an individual or couple since Charles F. Kettering Memorial Hospital was contributed to the community by Eugene and Virginia Kettering and other community donors.
“We can’t thank the Soins enough for their commitment to their hometown and to Dayton in general,” said Frank Perez, CEO of Kettering Health Network. “They are committed to making Dayton a better place to live and committed to making Beavercreek a complete community with recreational activity, higher education, business and now healthcare. Their support is so meaningful, and they are truly some of the greatest philanthropists this town has ever seen.”
This is not the first hospital to bear the Soin name, as Mr. Rajesh Soin is the main contributor to the Sukhdev Raj Soin Hospital built in India in memory of his late father. The Soins have a lengthy history of philanthropy in Dayton and abroad. Wright State University has the Raj Soin School of Business, Children’s Medical Center has the Soin Pediatric Trauma and Emergency Center, and the Soins donated 188 acres for the Beavercreek Golf Club.
Mr. Soin has always focused on two areas: education and healthcare, as he believes that once you provide a person with education, it gives them capabilities for lifelong earnings and they do not need any ongoing support. The only restriction they can have after that is if they are not in good health, which is why he also focuses on healthcare. Mr Soin's elder son Vishal is on the Board of Dayton Children’s hospital, and his younger son Amol is a physician practicing in the area. Mr. Soin has been a member of the Kettering Health Network Board for a number of years.
The Indu and Raj Soin Medical Center is spread over 35-acres of land and is located at 3535 Pentagon Blvd. in Beavercreek, Ohio. This 90 bed Indu and Raj Soin Medical Center is projected to be completed by the first quarter of 2012.
About Mr. Rajesh Soin
