New CEO For Singex Group Of Companies

Mr Aloysius Arlando will lead flagship for Singex Venues, as Chief Executive Officer, from April 1st

16 March 2010, Singapore. Singex Group announces the appointment of Aloysius Arlando as Chief Executive Officer of its flagship company, Singex Venues Pte Ltd, in which role he will oversee the operations of Singex Group.

Mr Arlando, 42, will assume his post on Thursday, 1 April 2010. He brings with him a wealth of experience in the tourism and MICE business, and the government sector, having built a career that spans 17 years in these areas. In particular, through his recent appointments as Assistant Chief Executive (Business Travel & MICE) of Singapore Tourism Board (STB), and as Executive Director of APEC Organising Committee, Ministry of Trade & Industry, he has been instrumental in strengthening Singapore’s MICE business and global profile. Prior to these roles, Mr Arlando held key appointments in STB as its Regional Director for ASEAN markets and Director of Business Travel & MICE. He also served for two-and-a-half years in the Ministry of Manpower, where he was responsible for the promotion of lifelong learning and workforce development programmes.
