New JeanPaul Mallozzi Limited Edition Print Sells out Within a Half Hour of Release

Emerging Miami-based Artist’s “Tenacity” print sells via Internet at over one print per minute.

New York, NY, June 13, 2011 (PressReleasePoint) -- The entire print run of “Tenacity”, the eagerly awaited limited edition print of an original painting by emerging Miami-based artist JeanPaul Mallozzi, sold out in less than thirty minutes upon its release today. Mallozzi’s “Tenacity” was published and released at 12 Noon EST today by 1xRUN, the publishing arm of 323 East Gallery, limited edition time-released art print program. By 12:29 PM EST all prints were sold.

“Tenacity” is from Malllozzi’s newest body of work which combines the concepts of emotion as energy and the body's emotive nature, Mallozzi replaces his child subjects’ actual faces with childlike gestures of color and lines. Any viewer can identify and sympathize with the fundamental idea presented here through the lyricism of the body language. According to the artist, " The world looks mundane at certain times of the day, but there are other times where magic can happen in a split second. The eternal kid in me believes that".

“Tenacity” was offered by 1xRUN as a 19” X 13” Giclee on 330gsm 100% Archival Cotton Paper in a limited edition of 30 prints. All prints are signed & numbered by the Artist and come with a Certificate of Authenticity from 1xRUN.

JeanPaul Mallozzi was born and raised in Queens NYC, and received a scholarship to attend the Rhode Island School Of Design (RISD) and graduated with B.F.A in Illustration. He currently resides in Miami, Florida where he can be found working daily in his studio at the Bakehouse Art Complex. His works are frequently exhibited in galleries in New York and Miami. His work can currently be seen at the Art Whino gallery in Washington DC.

He has also created drawings and paintings for Red Bull, WIRE Magazine, Open Drawer Theatre Company, Susanne Bartsche, and acclaimed fashion photographer Ken Pao. In 2009, a large scale painting by Mallozzi was showcased at Imoderni during Art Basel Miami.
