New Jersey Developmental Disabilities Services Provider Selects Qualifacts EHR

CareLogic Enterprise will provide access to meaningful data for strategic decision-making
LIVINGSTON, N.J., and NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 6, 2013 – Qualifacts Systems, Inc., announced today that it was selected by Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey to be the provider’s electronic health records vendor. The Livingston, N.J.-based developmental disabilities services provider will implement Qualifacts’ certified Complete EHR CareLogic Enterprise to streamline data collection across its 19 sites throughout New Jersey.
“Operating at 19 sites throughout the state using a paper-based system has made data collection difficult,” says Jim McCreath, Ph.D., president and CEO of CPNJ. “At the same time, a number of major services for our agency are changing to fee-for-service reimbursement, which is a challenge for our current billing processes.”
For CPNJ, the accessibility of Qualifacts’ web-based CareLogic Enterprise made it the right choice for the organization.
“We have many employees in the field and provide services 24/7,” McCreath continues. “We are looking forward to having our data in one place, accessible from anywhere – even offline, and analyzing that data with an eye toward improving processes and making strategic decisions.”
CPNJ is Qualifacts’ 20th customer in New Jersey, including six EHR purchasing collaboratives that have selected Qualifacts. Qualifacts’ relationship with the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies (NJAMHAA) has helped drive its success in the state.
“We’re thrilled CPNJ has chosen to be a part of our ever-growing CareLogic user community in New Jersey,” says David Klements, president and CEO for Qualifacts. “Behavioral health and human services organizations are discovering that performance metrics and benchmarking – like those included with each new CareLogic implementation – are necessary to make timely and informed management decisions. We look forward to helping CPNJ realize their goals of serving more clients, more efficiently.”
