The world will reverberate to the revving of an old classic as British guitarist, Craig Payne, releases ‘Drive My Car’ (Live) today exclusively worldwide on iTunes. This instrumental single is a powerful version that maintains the integrity and groove of the original Beatles track. Interest in the track has been huge increasing hits to Craig’s website by about 300% and the feedback has been generous to say the least.

The single is a precursor to the album, ‘Day Tripper – Craig plays The Beatles’ that features 13 Lennon / McCartney hits and will also be released very soon. The album has an incredibly strong form musically and features some tunes that are truly timeless that still weave a magic not often seen these days.

In addition Craig is planning a UK tour for 2010 that may also include some European dates. Negotiations with musicians and promoters have begun and it is hoped a band line up and tour dates will be announced very soon. Craig is picking the Northern summer months would be good for everyone.
