KCI welcomes Dana P. Knight, PE, back to the firm as vice president and regional practice leader for transportation engineering. His responsibilities will include business development, operations management, and quality control oversight for major transportation projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Knight has more than three decades of experience in planning, design, project management and business development in the transportation industry. He has successfully led major contracts with state and local agencies, including various modes of the Maryland Department of Transportation. Before rejoining KCI, Knight spent the last 20 years as vice president of a regional engineering firm, where he was responsible for establishing a presence in the Baltimore area, continuing growth of the firm in Maryland and adjacent states, leading business development efforts and overseeing an engineering and marketing staff. Knight originally joined KCI as a college co-op student and spent more than a decade earning increased roles of responsibility, which culminated in his role as Vice President and Baltimore Transportation Division Leader.

Dana is a well-known industry leader in the region and has had great success growing a business. His leadership will help us expand the existing design regional practice in service offerings, client relationships, and geographic footprint.
