TOKYO, Japan – March 27, 2014 - ORIX Rentec Corporation, a subsidiary of ORIX Corporation, announced that it will begin offering a new rental service that combines a credit card payment solution or POS system with a tablet device from today.
Companies can rent a tablet device and Square to enable their business to accept credit card payments. ORIX Rentec is also offering companies the ability to rent a tablet device with a POS application from EC-Orange. EC-Orange POS enables restaurants and bars to check store information linked with an order entry system that includes functions for browsing inventory and customer information, and analyzing customer data. Other rental options include packages with a mobile printer or cash drawer. The equipment is available for rental periods starting from as short as five days. (*)
The service is highly amenable for selling refreshments and merchandising goods at concerts and other venues, as well as for new businesses such as restaurants or customers seeking to expand their number of outlets since it eliminates the need to purchase equipment or software and enables users to rent the equipment for only the number of days they require, from short to long term.
ORIX Rentec started the tablet rental service TabRen in 2012 to support corporate customers' introduction and operation of tablet devices. In the new service starting today, ORIX Rentec will also provide product data registration and tablet device set-up operations as a package, thereby offering a highly amenable and convenient solution service to support efficient business management.
ORIX Rentec will continue to provide a range of services designed to increase convenience for customers in the IT-conversant logistics industry.
