Domino's Pizza has created a new Facebook App which allows customers to rate individual Domino's stores in real time. Domino's customers can already order from the company's Facebook page.

QLD, Australia., March 12, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -A new App allowing customers to rate their feedback in real time on Facebook will be rolled out by Domino’s Pizza Enterprises, in a move never before seen on the Australian QSR landscape.

The popular Australian pizza makers have designed the new application to improve the overall service to consumers by allowing customers to rate their end to end experience with the brand.

The order ratings are displayed in real time on the Domino’s Facebook page, allowing in excess of 800,000 fans to see:

•    How their local store performs;
•    View recently rated stores; and
•    View the top five rated stores in the country.

Domino’s CEO Don Meij said the application is a welcome initiative to help improve product development and ultimately the overall customer service experience.

“We have taken big steps forward in improving the service and operations of our stores in the past few years, and this is the next step for our stores to perform even better,” he said.

“For the first time ever, our customers will be able to provide real time feedback by rating their experience with our business, out of five, in the areas of ordering process, presentation and service pick-up, product quality, and presentation and service delivery."

“The application will also allow our customers the opportunity to rate our stores’ delivery time, resulting in average delivery times being recorded for each location."

“The Store Performance Live Ratings app is easy to use and puts customers in control – we are hiding nothing, in fact we are sharing it all on the most public forum possible.”

Domino’s stores that receive a rating of less than three will receive additional training to improve their standards.

“This tool is not just for our customers, it will also be used for our stores to see where they can improve in the eyes of their customers."

“We believe this App will have a direct positive impact on improved customer service as we will be working closely with stores to improve their product, service and quality by acting on the feedback from customers immediately,” Mr Meij said.

Domino’s is Australia’s number one choice in pizza, selling over 60 million a year. Opening its first store in Australia in 1983 the business has grown to include a franchise network of 567 stores across Australia and New Zealand and will celebrate 30 years in business this year.
