 Connecting, Promoting and Empowering all Types of Business Women Pink Book Society Launches Houston, Texas, March 15, 2010.

Pink Book Society, a new national social media marketing membership organization for female entrepreneurs and professional women in all types of businesses. We are transforming the way businesswomen connect and come together. Pink Book Society is offering innovative ways for our members to promote their businesses, products and/or
services.

Women are offered two levels of membership to choose from depending on how much information they would like to display and promote. With our top Diamond level of membership, members have maximum exposure with a full-page profile listing with all the bells and whistles imaginable. A business overview with contact info, a website link, up to five additional links, e-mail link, short description, longer detailed description, the ability to upload attachments, a photo gallery and even the ability to add video right on their own page. Members are also given their own Pink Book Society Vanity URL so they may direct people to their page. This is an invaluable benefit especially for women that do not yet have a website, because they are able to use their Pink Book Society Vanity URL as their web address. Member pages are optimized with a print link so that a visitor can easily print the member’s information. Each page has one click e mail to a friend link as well as an add to connections link so that members and visitors can easily save the companies they would like to be able to easily find again.

Each Diamond Level member is featured on the home page and listings page in an auto-play slide show and visitors can click on the members photo or page title right from the slide show and be taken directly into the respective member’s page. Pink Book Society offers a classifieds area and an events area where members may post classified ads and upcoming events that they would like promote and call attention to. Members are offered unlimited classifieds and events posting ability included in their annual membership. We have a super fun section called Girl Talk, which is where members may post their favorite things, recommended reading, inspirations and much more. We wouldn’t be complete without our Pink Blog. We are putting the call out for bloggers that would like to be contributors and/or create their own Pink Book Society Blog.

The Pink Book Society website has been a two-year project and has just launched. The response has been great and even though there is great interest in other social networks the response to Pink book Society shows that women want to connect with other businesswomen and do business with another woman when possible.

Women do not need to own a business to be a member. Our Founder, Lisa Robinson knows there are millions of women responsible for generating their own leads and sales in order to make a living, whether they are the owner of the business or not. Pink Book Society includes this important group of women.

Our site is designed for our members and visitors alike. Consumers are welcome to browse through our members when looking for a company to do business with. We boast our super simple search feature so that members and consumers may find what they are looking for quickly and easily.

About the Founder -

Lisa Robinson is the Founder and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Pink Book Society. Lisa is a native Houstonian and the Mother of three sons. After several years of being at home, the desire to get back to work was stirring within and Lisa decided to do something she is extremely passionate about and that is supporting and promoting women in business. Lisa has always been passionate about helping, promoting and doing business with other women, when possible, and she holds all working women in high regard because she knows it is not easy.

Lisa researched women’s membership organizations to promote a different company she owned and found the benefits, or lack thereof, disappointing. She felt that she could offer women something better and of much greater value. Lisa set out to create something better and have Pink Book Society be exactly what she envisioned. With the determination to not cut corners and to truly offer an invaluable resource and community for women, Pink Book Society was born. The endeavor to create a better than ever women’s networking society became a two-year journey, but it was worth the wait, and Pink Book Society is live on the web. We are beginning to create invaluable business relationships and we are sure that many cherished friendships will be made along the way as well.
