New Year's Day on the beach in Bibione

Bibione, Venice, 31/12/2008 - Despite the cold, the beach of Bibione greeted a beautiful New Year with many concerts and also games and parties for children. A lot of people danced until the early hours of dawn, among many toasts and fireworks.

On December 31st Bibione greeted the arrival of the New Year with dinners, parties to the streets and in the discos and pubs and with a lot of toasts. In a cold night, in which dropped also some snow flakes, the seaside resort livened up as during the summer season.
The celebrations began already at 3.00 pm in the central Viale Aurora with the Children New Year's Day, where clowns and cartoons amused the little guests until the arrival of Santa Claus with many gifts. After the rich dinners in the restaurants and in the Bibione hotels, a lot of people overflowed into the Piazza Copernico to drink a toast to the arrival of the 2009.
