NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Selects Omnicell for Medication Management

Omnicell, Inc., (NASDAQ:OMCL) a leading provider of medication system solutions to acute healthcare facilities, today announced that the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital has chosen Omnicell as its primary vendor for automated medication management solutions.

The Omnicell solutions will allow the Hospital to shift to a highly efficient medication management model in order to improve nursing and pharmacy workflows while increasing medication surveillance.

Omnicell's SinglePointe™ software enables clinical staff to monitor and control medications throughout the hospital and pharmacy environments, which in turn helps to reduce preventable medication errors. SinglePointe is a proprietary software solution that creates a secure and easy way to stock all of a patient's medications within a single safe location—the cabinet.
