VANCOUVER, Wash. USA March 14, 2014 – Laser Patterning Service enables ODM’s and Touch Sensor Makers a solution to accelerate prototyping and time to market. Laser thin film patterning of metal traces and transparent conductors is now being offered to diverse markets, such as touch sensor modules, displays, flexible electronics, photo-voltaics, and the internet-of-things sensors, including: medical, automotive, and wearable electronics.
nLIGHT can process coated glass or films utilizing its proprietary laser patterning solution to produce high performance, high volume patterned parts. Currently, nLIGHT has released processes for ITO on both glass and film, AgNW on both glass and film, TCTF for One-Film-Solution (OFS), and various Metal Conductive Trace Materials. Other material systems, including Carbon Nanotube, Conducting Polymer, Metal Mesh, and Graphene are in development.
