– Nokia announced today that it has acquired MetaCartaInc. MetaCarta, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a privately owned companywhich employs over 30 people and has expertise in geographic intelligencesolutions. MetaCarta’s technology will be used in the area of local search inLocation and other services.
