MOUNTAIN VIEW — Entrepreneurs’ Foundation of SVCF is excited to invite companies, nonprofit organizations and corporate responsibility professionals to submit nominations for the Powered by EF awards, a 15-year tradition of recognizing exemplary companies for their outstanding commitment to corporate responsibility and community involvement.
Nomination materials are available at ef.siliconvalleycf.org. The deadline to submit the brief nomination form is Friday, August 1.
The 15th annual Powered by EF celebration and awards presentation will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Hotel Sofitel in Redwood City, California. The event will bring together more than 200 leaders in the corporate citizenship community to honor successes of the past year. Previous award winners have included Aruba Networks, CafePress, Deloitte, Levi Strauss & Co., and SanDisk. You can read about the 2013 winners here.
This year, we will honor four companies and individuals for their effective work in corporate responsibility. The award categories are as follows:

CEO of the Year: Given to a CEO who demonstrates superior commitment to philanthropy, from his/her personal commitment to charity to demonstration of leadership in his/her company’s corporate responsibility programs.
Practitioner of the Year: Given to an individual who provides a gold standard example for his/her efforts in corporate philanthropy and/or corporate responsibility. This prestigious award gives the CSR community the chance to recognize and celebrate the work of a leading colleague, peer or client in the field of corporate responsibility.
