AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA (February 18, 2014) — For more than two decades Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) has honored innovative individuals behind technology-driven developments in the hospitality industry with the International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame. The association continues this tradition by accepting nominations for the 2014 honoree. The newest inductee will be recognized at a Keynote session of HITEC 2014 (Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference®) in Los Angeles, Calif.

Applications are available online, with nominations due to the HFTP office by April 14. The 2014 honoree will be selected by a distinguished panel of technology experts and HFTP leaders.

“Being elected into the Hall of Fame is one of the most humbling, yet coveted honors, that I have ever been awarded,” said Frank Wolfe, CAE, the 2011 inductee, CEO of HFTP. “I have been involved with many projects in hospitality technology that have had many teams, including staff and volunteers. It is really these individuals who make our industry a truly honorable and enjoyable one.”

To keep up with expectations and in recognition of the visionaries who develop these instruments and their impact on the hospitality industry, HFTP established the International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame, the association's highest level of recognition in the area of technology. Since 1989, 35 individuals have been selected by their peers as representing the best in innovation and application and as leaders in their profession.
