Virginia’s first urban winery, Mermaid Winery is located in the charming Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk. It focuses on producing small lots of well-balanced wines using grapes sourced from premiere vineyards in Virginia.

O'Conner Brewing Company is coming onto their third year in business, making locally handcrafted ales using only the finest ingredients,

Smartmouth Brewing Company
Smartmouth Brewing Company is a craft brewery featuring three year-round styles of beer with periodic seasonal/special styles. Its beers can be found in restaurants across the area, while a brewery tasting room gives visitors a chance to sample their styles and take a tour. The tasting room is open Thursdays and Fridays from 4:30pm - 7pm, and Saturdays from 12-5pm. Free tours are offered hourly on Saturdays.
