New York, NY, USA, January 12, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) - Using a beautifully essential color palette based on yellow, red and blue, American artist Jerry Anderson paints with an exceptional integrity and vivacity. Skillful and straightforward, the artist paints the human figure and the forms of the landscape with vigor and dynamism, and yet his paintings are tranquil and palpably peaceful. Inspired by world religions and the natural world alike, these works are richly opulent in a respectful glorification of nature and the harmonious forms within it. Poetic in his brushwork, stillness pervades Anderson’s paintings, encouraging viewer to pause for reflection of the energies and beauties of the natural world. Congruence is a theme that runs implicitly throughout the works, sparking the viewer’s interest in the interconnectedness of things around and within. “My wish is that my paintings will remind the viewer of the wonder and oneness of all things, and especially the sacredness of their own divinity,” says Anderson.
A native of the Southwest United States, Jerry Anderson lives and works in Northern California.
