Well known New York managed services executive, Lee Solt, is celebrating his 44th birthday (and 25th year in the IT world) with the birth of his new division within Dark Arts Consulting, Dark Arts Managed Service Partners (www.DAMSP.com).
After working with such great New York companies, such as ACA Capital, Moody’s Investors Service and Veronis Suhler and Associates, as President of Dark Arts, Lee Solt brings the perfect combination of technical credentials, an MBA, and an amazing ability to partner with his clients and support their most intricate and difficult managed service needs. Lee has a proven track record for launching and directing a long list of successful technology infrastructure projects. Lee and his entire team at Dark Arts, proactively monitor their clients’ technological environments, allowing DAMSP to prevent many system failures before they ever happen. They also focus on streamlining technology operations in order to speed up workstation performance, making the organization more efficient.
In addition to designing, developing, and implementing IT solutions and leveraging emerging technologies to streamline clients’ systems and processes, Dark Arts offers a suite of products to provide the most effective array of solutions for each client’s toughest problems. DAMSP’s main product is a service package called “Focus Works.” This is a suite of hardware and software that provides monitoring and disaster recovery. This disaster recovery model takes complete snapshots of each client’s servers and automatically sends a copy of the data to an off-site location in DAMSP’s East Coast and West Coast datacenters. The Focus Works suite also includes Tactical and Strategic IT Vision. Through this process, the Dark Arts team looks forward 3 to 5 years and places each of their clients in a model that gives them a flexible structure that will grow with them and adapt to their needs – both immediately and in the future.
One of the main driving mantras at Dark Arts is, “Technology for the sake of business and NOT for the sake of technology.” Lee Solt has built his company on the philosophy that every single thing implemented by DAMSP must add to the client’s bottom line and that technology will not be integrated simply because it’s the current trend. Dark Arts uses all of their expertise and only makes structural managed service changes when it will help a client conduct business in a better, faster, and more economical way, or to reduce the expense of running the business overall. This is a company whose time has definitely arrived. Happy birthday Dark Arts!
