O2 Media and Brand Star Productions Team Up for a New Television Production Venture: BrandStar Entertainment

O2 Media and Brand Star Productions have both enjoyed long, successful histories in producing educational, entertaining television shows with a female demographic. Furthermore, they are both located in South Florida, just a few miles apart. While O2 Media and Five Star Productions could view themselves as rivals, competing in the same industry, they had a different philosophy. According to Gerry Czarnecki, President and CEO of O2 Media, the companies respected each other and appreciated the fact that they were raising the bar in the industry by providing high-quality shows that are popular with viewers and have been recognized with numerous awards. That outlook was made clear recently when O2 Media and Five Star Productions announced a new joint venture named BrandStar Entertainment.

“BrandStar will capitalize on the resources, multiple production facilities and exceptional talent from both O2 Media and Five Star Productions,” says Czarnecki. “In addition, by having multiple shows under one umbrella we have a strong foundation for introducing new programming and building our presence among clients and viewers.”

Boca Raton-based Five Star Productions, one of the country’s largest independent television, film and radio production companies, has received numerous awards for its television programming and commercials. Its popular syndicated television show, The Balancing Act, will now be part of BrandStar Entertainment.

O2 Media Inc. is the parent company of three wholly-owned subsidiaries: Incredible Discoveries® Inc., Quorum Productions Inc., and O2 Production Studios Inc. Quorum Productions is a Florida-based production company that is nationally renowned for creating award-winning educational programming, including Designing Spaces and Kitchen Spaces.
