With O2 Moja Firma Plan O2 Grew Its Market Share in Small and Medium Enterprises Segment

Bratislava- Following the launch of its O2 Moja Firma plan, Telefónica O2 Slovakia grew its market share in the segment of sole traders and small and medium enterprises by 3 percentage points. Since September 2010, when O2 introduced the O2 Moja Firma proposition, O2’s market share in the given segment increased from 8% to 11%. The data indicate that 11 % of sole traders and small and medium enterprises opted for a flexible offer that adjusts to their needs.

"We did not see the opinion from previous years about businesses requiring along with a business tariff plan also a mobile handset confirmed. Our experience is that the basic criteria in selecting an offer are flexibility, control and value for money. Discount on handset as one of the benefits of O2 Moja Firma attracted only a small percentage of our customers," said John McGuigan, Chief Executive Officer of Telefónica O2 Slovakia.

By September last year when it launched the O2 Moja Firma plan, O2 addressed with its uncommitted product O2 Fér an 8-percent market share in the segment of small and medium enterprises and sole traders. To date, O2's market share in the given segment reaches as much as 11%. According to respondents in the last year's survey by the Ipsos Tambor agency, not lacking also sole traders and managers of small and medium enterprises, an ideal offer of calls for businesses should be flexible, tailored to their needs and without any limits.

Activation of O2 Moja Firma plan

Until now, businesses were activating 3 SIM cards on average. Maximum number of SIM cards activated with the O2 Moja Firma plan reached 70.

Bonus for O2 Moja Firma plan

Each new customer that files a request for number transfer from February 1, 2011 can get a portability bonus of    € 25. The customer will be credited the bonus from the following complete invoicing period namely during 5 months provided that the invoice amount will not fall below € 5.

About O2 Moja Firma

Prerequisite for O2 Moja firma price plan subscription is allocated Identification number of the enterprise (ICO). The subscription also requires to sign the Basic Contract and to claim chosen discounts. The contracting period is set for 6, 12, 18 or 2 months in the Basic Contract, while it is up to the customer to decide for one of these periods. One of the conditions of the Basic Contract is a minimum monthly turnover, identified by the customer; the minimum turnover is €25. O2 applies 20 percent allowance to such turnover.

Automatically optimized price of calls

The more the customer calls, the lower the per-minute price he/she pays in a given month. The final price per minute of a call to all networks in Slovakia and from Slovakia to the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Ireland and UK then depends on the volume of spent minutes in the month, with which the customer reaches one of the following three price levels:

Price levels
Price level 1: 0 - 99 minutes: EUR 0.12/minute incl. VAT
Price level 2: 100 - 299: EUR 0.10/minute incl. VAT
Price level 3: 300 and more: EUR 0.08/minute incl. VAT

Maximum price cap for calls

The customer of O2 Moja firma price plan does not pay more than €55 including VAT per one SIM card for calls to telephone numbers in all networks in Slovakia and from Slovakia to the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Ireland and UK. The customer will thus get a possibility of unlimited calls in the mentioned routes each month for given maximum price, without the necessity of paying a high regular monthly fee.

Benefits offered with Basic Contract conclusion

With conclusion of the Basic Contract, O2 provides its customers with an option to get attractive discounts on selected services depending on the length of the contracting period and agreed minimum monthly turnover. The client chooses the service, which is the best for him/her, while one can chose among the discounts on mobile services Vo firme neobmedzene (Unlimited in Company) and Mojim trom (For my Three), packages of 100 SMS/MMS and O2 Data neobmedzene (Unlimited Data), discounts on the bills or after 3 months of using services  on a mobile phone by own choice.

Special care even with one SIM card

Besides the referred advantages, the customers of O2 Moja firma even with one SIM card get a special customer care package. This package includes, for example, free control of consumption or choice of telephone number or a sequence of telephone numbers free of any charge too. The customer of O2 Moja firma can directly reach an operator at the customer line 24/7; in this way O2 tries to save time of our customers and provide them with required information or support as soon as possible.
