WARTBURG, Tennessee: Obed Wild and Scenic River will be observing National Park Week from Saturday, April 19, through Sunday, April 27.Everyone is invited to celebrate all that America's more than 400 national parks have to offer with the theme "National Park Week: Go Wild!"

National Park Week will kick off with free camping at Rock Creek Campground for Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20.A guided hike to the Lily Bluff Overlook will also take place on Saturday, April 19, at noon.

Did you know that sandstone cliffs rise up to 400 feet above the Obed river? The cliffs can be most prominent along the Lilly Bluff area of the river.
